What We Do
Kiisimu Girls nurtures problem-solving skills, facilitates talent development, and offers mentorship, language education, self-awareness and personal hygienic practices among vulnerable young girls aged 4 to 18 years in rural communities of Uganda. We do this by empowering the young girls and women to become champions of transformation in rural communities.

How We Work
We work alongside local community leaders, families, schools, churches, mosques, and hospitals to identify vulnerable girls in rural communities. The centre initially engages with families of vulnerable girls for their consent to support them in their growth journey as they become champions of transformation.
Onboarding of vulnerable girls is done through a formal registration process at local communities. Generally, a community resource centre comprises of a woman leader who mobilises and coordinates the girls in liaison with the administrative office in Kampala.
