At Kiisimu, we empower the young girls and women to become champions of transformation in rural communities. We work alongside local community leaders, families, schools, churches, mosques, and hospitals to identify vulnerable girls in rural communities. Our programs are conducted within the local community and are designed to facilitate talent development and skilling among vulnerable girls. Our programs include these highlighted below:
Our centre offers a range of activities to facilitate skilling and talent development among vulnerable girls. This includes self-employable skills development to enhance entrepreneurial mindsets and functional skills development to facilitate talent development.
Mentorship & Counselling
Our centre provides structured support to vulnerable girls and women through mentorship programs offered by experienced people in various fields and professions. We also offer counselling sessions to help girls deal with difficult situations and related psychological, behavioral, interpersonal, and situational causes.
To establish a local presence within the community, we organize community outreach activities in collaboration with local leaders. These activities address local challenges and engage residents of the community in our work.
Our resource centre is the go-to place for vulnerable girls and women seeking information on career growth, education, travel, conflict resolution, among others.
